How I’m Starting My Year

Hey loves, we’re already 7 days into 2018 and it still feels surreal. I’m really thankful for all the support I got last year from you guys. From the comments, to the likes, the follows, views etc. Wow, y’all were amazing, let’s make more of that magic in 2018 okay? Happy new year people ❤.

I’m starting my 2018 by waiting on God this season. So there’s this amazing program my amazing church ‘COZA’ organizes every beginning of the year, it’s called 12 days of Glory. It’s a season where we all gather together as a family for 12 days, each day representing each month of the year, we gather by 5 every evening to worship, pray, and listen to the word and also receive specific instructions for the year. So far it’s been MIND BLOWING, I couldn’t think of any better way to kick-start the year. And I’m super thankful to God for the testimonies he’s given me already.

Yes, I’ve written down as my goals for 2018, but in all sincerity, I don’t think I can achieve any by of them by my own strength. There’s something the presence of God does to me, my faith is being made stronger, my desire for God and advancing the things of the kingdom is growing daily, what more could I ask for? We have 6 more days to go and it’s getting really intense. The men/women of God invited to speak to us have blown me byrightly diving the word of truth

We had a prayer session on the second day and I’m not sure I will recover from it anytime soon. I was sharing on my instagram page about how prayer is not just the key, but the way to live. One of my goals for 2018 is to take my prayer life to another level, my prayer alter has to be lit all the time. Pray without ceasing. I also encouraged people to spend the first few days of this year truly seeking for God’s will for the year and committing the year into his hands.

Remember that no one ever recovers from a good start, and this is one of the ways to start a new year. If you’re already doing this then you’re on the right track, if you’re not, don’t go into the new year without at least taking out time to pray for yourself, family and everything that concerns you. Also, if you’re reading this and you live in Nigeria, and you’d like to be a part of the 12 days of glory for the next 8 days, kindly indicate in the comment section, and we’ll take it from there.

I may not be so active on the blog until after the 12 days of glory, but my instagram page will be very active. I pray God gives us the strength to wait on him this season, and may all our hearts desires come to pass speedily in Jesus name. Amen.

Amen…Your word about keeping your altar lit always is in line with our Sunday message on renewing our relationship with God… Levitcus 6:13. Thanks for the reminder, God bless you!
